7. The Last Supper - Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver
The conclusion of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon duology was an almost impressively dull affair that, for all of its mega-budget action and ensemble cast, surely left many reaching for the remote.
The single memorable and halfway interesting scene occurs at the end of the first act, as Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the other central characters prepare to stage their last stand against the evil Imperium.
The warriors gather for a last supper which doubles as a group bonding session, as each member of the team shares the story that brought them to this place.
Sure, it's basically a shameless exposition dump, but between the earnest performances and intriguing cutaways to each character's backstory, it's far more engaging than just about any other scene in the movie.
Plus, Snyder confirmed shortly after release that this sequence was actually originally intended for his cancelled Justice League sequel, where the superheroes would similarly unite to tell their stories before battling to save the world.
As Justice League 2 never came to pass, Snyder decided to recycle the structure and spirit of the sequence in his latest project.
