10 Things Fans Want To See In MCU Spider-Man 3
2. Uncle Ben
For a smart reason, Marvel decided not to make Spider-Man’s first solo film an origin story, as it had already been done to death by Sony in previous movies. Fans were happy with this as it was not the same story they had seen over and over again, but this meant audiences never got to see Peter’s iconic Uncle Ben, whose death motivates Spider-Man to be the hero he is now.
Within the MCU’s two solo movies, fans have seen quick, fleeting references to Uncle Ben’s existence, mainly a suitcase with ‘B.F.P’ marked on it in Far From Home. It was a nice and subtle reference to him still being a part of Peter’s backstory, but there's been little in the way of actual story consequence.
With a third movie then, fans are hoping for a more substantial reference or possibly a cameo from Uncle Ben, most likely in a flashback.
If Uncle Ben was to appear, the question of course turns to who would play him. A possible casting that would appease a lot of Spider-Man fans would be Tobey Maguire himself as he is now nearing the right age to be a parental figure to Peter Parker.
