10 Things Marvel Fans Don't Want To Accept About The MCU
5. The Lead Villains Often Suck Too
It's not exactly a revelation that Marvel Studios has a villain problem, and while things have improved in recent years thanks to the likes of Thanos and Erik Killmonger, it would be wrong to say that this is an issue that's been completely resolved.
Yon-Rogg, Kaecilius, and Ghost are all recent examples of underwhelming bad guys, but an even bigger issue the Marvel Cinematic Universe has is not knowing what to do with them once they're defeated!
It's become a cliché for this shared world's bad guys to be killed off once they're beaten because, despite the introduction of The Raft in Captain America: Civil War, it seems that there's nowhere to put them. As a result, the door isn't really open to them making a return down the line, a shame considering the fact the likes of Ultron and Malekith were wasted on one and done appearances.
There are still some notable baddies out there - like Baron Zemo and The Vulture - but nowhere near as many as there should be. So, no, Marvel Studios isn't the be all and end all with a roster of great villains!
