5. Anyone bothering to safeguard mankinds legacy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyucU5rtIu8 People are pretty selfish in virus outbreak stories. Its all survival, survival, survival. What about preservation, preservation, preservation? Characters always seem way too eager to reboot civilisation and basically forget all the knowledge and achievements of the past few thousand years. Youd have thought someone would be interested in protecting some of the amazing stuff in museums and libraries around the world. But no, even when people are fully stocked up on supplies, a trip to the mall or supermarket seems way more enticing than the national gallery. Maybe art lovers just dont have that survival instinct.
