4. Plans being formed to help the family of supporting characters

Will Smith If there€™s one thing we can take away from virus movies, it€™s that only the lead characters€™ families are important. We see it so many times in films with one or two stars, then an ensemble of supporting players: the plans, missions and concerns are completely skewed towards the lead€™s immediate or even peripheral relatives. If any of the supporting cast€™s loved ones are mentioned, it€™s usually in the context of, €œOh, well, they€™re probably dead. No point looking for them.€ It makes you wonder whether anyone will actually team-up for real come the zombie apocalypse. Maybe we€™ll all just be hanging around in train stations, waiting for connections to find our own families on the other side of the country?
