10 Things You Didn't Know About Back To The Future
2. Many Famous Musical Faces Appear In The Three Films
Zemeckis was either a big fan of certain musical acts when he was making Back To The Future, or the film series was, for some reason or another, extremely appealing to them. Whatever the case may be, there's three different bands or band members that appear throughout the science fiction trilogy. The first of these is an appearance from Huey Lewis in the first film. Not only did the man provide the memorable soundtrack to the trilogy, he also played one of the judges at Marty's battle of the bands audition, exclaiming that his music was "too loud". Second is the role of Marty's boss in the future being played by Flea, or, as most people know him; the bassist from Red Hot Chili Peppers. We suppose you could just remember him as the arrogant nob that fires Marty from his job too, but that's a slightly informal title. Lastly, in Part III when Marty and Doc Brown attend the Hill Valley festival in 1885 to celebrate the unveiling of the clock-tower, the band playing in the background is actually none other than ZZ Top. The band formed in the 60s and are still going today, give them a listen if you're a fan of old-school rock.
