3. He's Met The Simpsons, The South Park Kids And Scooby Doo
Speaking of The Simpsons, Jason actually appears in the credits of the Treehouse Of Horror IX episode, sitting on the couch with Freddy Krueger and wondering where the family are after we’ve just seen Lisa catapulted onto the roof and Homer knocked down by Marge’s car.
He also turns up in South Park’s Imaginationland episodes, as do Pinhead, Freddy and, er, Strawberry Shortcake. When Shortcake’s eyeball is removed, Jason (who spokes in a weedy effeminate voice) calls it “Super hardcore.”
Jason also appears in several Robot Chicken episodes, most notably in season one’s That Hurts Me, where he’s a contestant on Horror Movie Big Brother alongside Michael Myers, Pinhead, Leatherface, Freddy and Ghostface. In the episode Operation: Rich In Spirit, Jason’s murders are being investigated by the Scooby Doo gang, which turned out to be ironic: the movie Scooby Doo Camp Scare is a knowing tribute to the Friday The 13th films.
