5. He Might Be An Avenger
I run into in the craziest places, read the caption to the image above, which Marvels Co-President
Louis D'Esposito posted on Twitter on January 22nd 2016. This coincided with the fact that Joe and Anthony Russo were doing some Captain America: Civil War reshoots during that week, which is probably where the photo was taken. It looks like Holland and D'Esposito are chilling out on an Avengers Quinjet, doesnt it? This gives us a clue of how Spidey might slot into the movie. At some point, at least, it looks like he could be teaming up with government-sanctioned Avengers team that Tony Stark's Iron Man is heading up. On the other side of the conflict is Steve Rogers Captain America, who judging by the trailers refuses government control to help protect his old pal Bucky (now a fugitive on the run). But, of course, the fact that Spidey is on Starks side at one stage doesnt mean he has to stay there. In the comics, Peter quits the Stark team to join Rogers at one stage of the superhero Civil War. The film wont follow the books beat for beat, but perhaps well see a similar chain of events taking place. Maybe Spidey will start on the government team before finding out some shady information about his bosses and switching sides. Only time will tell, of course.
