10 Things You Need To Know About Top Gun: Maverick

7. Reactions From The Fans

Top Gun Maverick
Paramount Pictures

The general consensus is that everyone is excited to see this film on the big screen. Many of the shots are wide-angle and in the cockpit, making for an immersive and stomach-flipping experience. Cruise made sure that when he returned to the role of Maverick, the cinematography and character development would be on point so that the avid fans would not be disappointed.

Early reactions to the movie's private premiere back in April have been great, with some describing the movie as "the perfect blockbuster." The plot is apparently reliant on the first story, but it makes some much-needed improvements. Think Top Gun but ten times better and with way better cinematography.

Film critic Shaurya Chawla praised Cruise for his work on the movie, referring to the actor as a "Madman" for some of the stunts that were pulled. He also told fans to make sure they watch it on the "biggest, loudest screen" to get the full effect."

So far, there has been no adverse reaction to the film, and it sounds like we're all in for a real treat when it comes to the cinematography and scenery in the movie. Most of the filming took place across California, Lake Tahoe and various other US locations.
