10 Things You Somehow Missed In Zodiac (2007)

Even though the Zodiac Killer has become legendary for his killing spree, two of his attempted victims survived their encounters. Despite the fact Michael Mageau and Bryan Calvin Hartnell suffered egregious wounds from the serial killer, both of them pulled through.

To make the film as accurate as possible, many people connected to the Zodiac case were questioned, including Hartnell. Considering Hartnell was stabbed eight times in the back by the serial killer before watching his girlfriend being murdered, you could understand if he declined to be involved with the film. But not only was Hartnell co-operative with the production, he agreed to make a cameo!

In the scene where Marty Lee urges Inspector Toschi to take some time off work, a couple pass by in the background. Even though they only appear for a second, it's worth mentioning since this pair is Bryan Calvin Hartnell and his wife. Considering shooting this scene forced Hartnell to relive the most traumatic experience of his life, it's unbelievable that he agreed to do it, especially since most viewers didn't notice him in the shot.
