10 Times James Bond Turned Into A Complete Psychopath

4. That Time He Inflated Dr. Kananga To Death - Live And Le Die

One of the more humorous Bond villain deaths is also easily one of the most cruel, and can be found towards the end of voodoo/gangster movie mashup Live And Let Die. It features Roger Moore setting the tone for his time as the secret agent, getting caught up in business he basically looks too out of his depth to be involved in, and getting rid of nemeses with the gleeful abandon of a child pulling the wings off a fly. To do away with drugs kingpin Dr. Kananga (Yaphet Kotto), Bond chooses not to drown him in the water tank the pair find themselves scuffling in, or leave him to the sharks circling the two of them as they fight. No, Bond wants an even more inventive end for Kananga, so he slips a shark gun pellet into the big bad's mouth and watches as he floats away and explodes like a balloon. "He always did have an inflated opinion of himself", says Bond, set to full-on pun mode, undoubtedly thinking himself some sort of comedy king that he just detonated a man alive.
