1. Judge Dredd (Dredd, 2012)
Is there a meaner, scarier more bad ass law enforcer out there than Judge Joseph Dredd? Standing for what is right in a world that has gone to the dogs Dredd is the personification of justice. With his mantra of "I AM THE LAW" he's the last person you petty criminals and hoodlums want to cross and the poster boy for living life the right way ... or else. Unlike many cops Dredd cannot be bought and cannot be reasoned with. There are no grey areas with him, everything is black or white. If you've committed a crime in Mega City One then you can be damn sure sooner or later The Judges will be coming for you - and you'd better prey to whatever God you believe in that they don't send this guy. Throughout his long history Dredd has never revealed his true face (except perhaps in an early Prog. 8 story) which gives him that soulless aura of an unstoppable machine more akin to The Terminator than perhaps Robocop, and we are absolutely convinced that there isn't a badass cop on this list that he could not take down if it ever came to it.
