1. How Strongly Will Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tie Into The MCU?
It's up in the air how closely Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to tie into the MCU, though given how long these movies take to produce compared to a weekly TV serial, it's safe to say that the answer will probably be "a respectful distance." Though Clark Gregg reprises his role as Agent Coulson, we can now expect him to take a backseat from the main MCU, and events in the main MCU will likely only be casually hinted at rather than flat-out explored, I expect. That said, Cobie Smulders is reportedly keen to reprise her Maria Hill role beyond just the Pilot, and Sam Rockwell has also commented that he would love to return as Justin Hammer. Once The Winter Soldier is released, it would be great to see Anthony Mackie's Falcon character explored more (assuming he survives the movie), and it simply seems to be that this world suits itself better to the supporting characters on the periphery; that way, they can avoid paying massive paychecks to Downey and co., while still having a totally legitimate and exciting continuity with the world.
