10 Underrated Star Wars Legends Characters That Deserve A Second Chance
4. Kreia
If Mother Talzin proved anything it is that we need more old female villains in Star Wars. Kreia, the Sith Lord formerly known as Darth Treya, also known as The Lord of Betrayal, had her fair share of ups and downs in the sequel to Knights of the Old Republic.
Originally a Jedi, she grew disillusioned with the order and decided to create a new one in her vision, free from the enslavement of the force. This led to her becoming a Sith and taking two apprentices. As if that was not already a rollercoaster ride, those said apprentices betrayed her and stripped her ability to use the force.
Often overlooked, she is a compelling villain in her own right, with her own unique take on the philosophy and goings on of the force. Kreia deserves a comeback in the canon, being unique as she has grievances with the Jedi and the Sith. She could turn the audience’s expectations for a villain on its head. It is always compelling to see a villain with strong philosophical beliefs and the lengths they are willing to go to fulfil them.
Despite being blind she can control a trio of lightsabers with the force during combat - something other Sith are surely jealous of.
