9. Troll 2
Troll 2 has a massive legacy for being one of the best bad movies ever made. It genuinely has this vibe of trying to be scary but coming off as entirely goofy. It should rank at the top of the list, but its reputation is so massive that putting it there would be too predictable.
The famous disaster of a film seemed to be made with good intentions. The filmmakers wanted to create something that was marketable as scary. This is evident in all of the advertisements for it that are filled with some well-painted posters. But as we all know, the product itself is an absolute laugh fest.
It is filled with atrocious acting, some awful practical effects and writing that makes you question whether the creators were joking. We know for sure that they were not and that this film was created to generate scares.
There will never be another movie like this; that is probably a good thing. However, many people would probably love to see Troll 3 only out of morbid curiosity.
