10 Upcoming Comic Book Movies We Don't Really Need

9. The Wolverine 2

2 The Wolverine Sequel20th Century FoxDon't get us wrong: Hugh Jackman and Wolverine are absolutely fantastic, but does anybody else get the feeling that we've experienced this character about as much as we can on solo terms? Do we really need another - as in, a third - solo Wolverine movie, especially in the wake of the character also taking the lead in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Not to suggest that there's been something of a Wolverine overkill in recent years, but... well, that's exactly what we're suggesting, actually. With each added Wolverine chapter, see, there's a sense of stretching this character a little too far. It would be far more interesting to focus in on different characters in the X-Men franchise, instead of having to throw Wolverine through the blender for the upteenth time. The plan, apparently, is to shoot The Wolverine 2 after X-Men: Apocalypse finishes filming (there are also rumours that 20th Century Fox will shoot them back to back). How about a different movie concerning a less developed character instead, though?
