10 Upcoming Comic Book Villains Hollywood Will Probably Ruin

7. Doomsday - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The Villain: Doomsday is unquestionably one of Supes' fiercest foes, created through an evolutionary cloning process to the point that he has an extremely potent healing factor and his body can adapt to whatever attacks his enemies throw at him. In addition, he's been able to fight the entire Justice League by himself before, although his most famous feat is surely killing Superman (temporarily, of course) in the 1992 comic The Death of Superman in a brutal fight, at the cost of his own life as well. Why He'll Be Ruined: Rumours have persisted ever since the start of Dawn Of Justice's production that Doomsday would be in it, and this was seemingly confirmed a few months ago as several outlets claimed that the Wonder Woman fight scene spotted in the most recent trailer was between her and Doomsday. In the scene, she reportedly chops off Doomsday's hand only for a blade to grow back. The problem is that BvS already has so much ground to cover that there's the overwhelming feeling that Doomsday will end up being an ancillary villain who's introduced in the second or third act, gets maybe 15-20 minutes of screen time, and is then effortlessly killed off by the Justice League. Considering his status as one of the most iconic DC supervillains, if this is the case, the fanboys will be rightly up in arms.
