Another great Pixar director is returning to helm another of Disney's upcoming animated releases - Andrew Stanton was the man behind Finding Nemo and Wall-E and is returning next year with his sequel to the former, Finding Dory. With Dory, Nemo, Marlin and the Tank Gang all returning from the original film so most audiences will be familiar with the basic premise, and from the sound of the synopsis - amnesiac Dory strives to be reunited with her family - the plot will be treading - or should that be "swimming" - familiar ground, too. Pixar sequels (and prequels) haven't always turned out to be a good idea, and Stanton has admitted that he agreed to the project from the point of view of company finances, but he's also been clear about the necessity for ample production time to deliver a great film rather than a cash-in product, suggesting the project is being made with some integrity.
