10 Upcoming Films Starring Doctor Who Actors You Have To See
4. Reds And Greys (David Tennant)
If there's one thing you can say about David Tennant, it's that he's as versatile as actors get. By the time he became a household name for his acclaimed portrayal of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who, he had already played a wizard in Harry Potter, a pre-op transvestite in a BBC series called Rab C Nesbitt and let's not forget when he really got to showcase his acting range through his portrayal of an unnamed husband in that 2002 Boots advert. It was the stuff that Oscars are made of. In fact, all you have to do is take a glance at his reputable résumé to wonder if there's even anything left for him to do, but apparently he ain't done yet. He's just started filming for the new Marvel series A.K.A. Jessica Jones, in which he'll play Zebediah Killgrave (also known as the Purple Man), but there's another of his upcoming roles that sounds much more exciting. Oh, did we mention that it involves him playing a squirrel? Well, the voice of one, at least. David will be heard as Robbie in Reds and Grays, a romcom animation revolving around the ongoing war between red and gray squirrels. Seriously. Toni Collette's in it, too, alongside Gemma Arterton (and let's face it, you never need an excuse to listen to her!), but that's all that's been revealed about it thus far. It's due out later this year, though, and you'd be simply nuts to miss it. Geddit? Nuts?! Oh, never mind.
