10 Upcoming Films You'll See Even If The Reviews Are Terrible

10. The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

Release Date: 17th December, 2014. What's It About: Not only the final film in The Hobbit Trilogy, but also Peter Jackson's last foray into Middle Earth, full stop, The Battle Of The Five Armies will finish Bilbo's journey with the dwarves and tie together the prequel trilogy to The Lord Of The Rings. The titular battle sees the forces of men, elves and dwarves (helped by those pesky eagles) tackle the Necromancer's armies of orcs and wargs in an epic battle that, according to the crew, will put Return Of The King's Battle of Pelennor Fields to shame. Of course, before all that there's the small issue of an angry, fire-breathing dragon to be dealt with. Why You'll See It: Even though The Hobbit films haven't quite lived up to their predecessor, there's still a fascination to see what Jackson will do with the story, particularly because so much has been changed that even die-hards can't fully predict how everything will go down. After slugging through the first two films of the trilogy, much of which was set up, it'd be crazy to not see how it all climaxes. Add the sheer emotion of this being the last time we visit Middle Earth on the big screen and even if this is a total dud, we'll check it out.
