7. Godzilla Vs. Kong ISN'T Just A ".Vs" Movie

If we take its title at face value, then Godzilla vs. Kong is going to be focused on the two iconic Titans going head-to-head in a battle to become the undisputed dominant force on Earth.

But as anyone who's ever seen a ".Vs" movie before should be well aware of, there's virtually no chance of this being a straight rivalry movie with a clear-cut winner.

Freddy vs. Jason. Alien vs. Predator. Batman v Superman. They all chickened out on presenting audiences with a decisive winner, either calling it a draw or ass-pulling a bigger threat for the feature attractions to team up against.

The latter is almost certainly the case with Godzilla vs. Kong, and if rumours are to be believed, the Titans will be forced to team up against fan favourite kaiju Destroyah in order to save both themselves and humanity.

While we'll hopefully get more of Godzilla and Kong fighting one another than the mere seven minutes of superhero fisticuffs Batman v Superman gave us, if you're expecting sustained throwdowns between them throughout the movie, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
