Why You Should Watch It: It's the concluding entry into the Skywalker Saga of Star Wars movies, so should give fans some fond farewells to the old guard while setting up a future focused strictly on younger heroes Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac).

Perhaps even more intriguing than this, though, is seeing Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver) character arc completed one way or another.

Why You'll Actually Watch It: With Carrie Fisher sadly passing away shortly after production on The Last Jedi was completed, there's naturally been a ton of curiosity about how Episode IX will manage her death.

It's been confirmed that unused takes from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi will be incorporated into the film, but it's still incredibly likely that Princess Leia will be written out of the franchise in some form.
