10 Upcoming Movies That Are Already Doomed
1. Glimpses of the Moon
Last year while promoting his sci-fi epic Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola revealed that he was already busy planning his next project - a musical adaptation of Edith Wharton's 1922 novel Glimpses of the Moon.
Back in March, Coppola moved to the UK to begin pre-production on the film, which is already written, but the project has hit something of a snag as of late - the legendary filmmaker can't find anyone to put up the money to fund it.
Coppola famously sold off a portion of his lucrative wine business to bankroll Megalopolis' $120 million budget, but the film's unsurprising commercial failure has left him with no means to independently fund his next endeavour.
Megalopolis flopping disastrously also makes it highly unlikely that many will want to invest in Glimpses of the Moon, and so it's easy to see the project simply entering development hell in the near-future.
