Release Date: July 24, 2015 The trailer for Pixels feels like one of those "it's supposed to look dumb" fake movie trailers you sometimes get in comedy movies - a kind of ridiculous parody highlighting the sorts of motion pictures that even Hollywood wouldn't touch. And yet Pixels is actually coming to cinemas near you in 2015. This bizarrely contrived comic adventure pretty much signals that Hollywood is totally out of concepts, and "original" ideas come packaged like this: that's to say, Pixels marks the end game for blockbuster comedy. Based on a short film from France from 2010 (a format it should have been constrained to), Pixels sees two of the worst actors of all-time (read as: Adam Sandler and Kevin James) and the dwarf from Game of Thrones going up against alien invaders who have come to Earth bearing an unexpected resemblance to 8-bit video game classics, like Pac-Man and Space Invaders, because .
