Joining the likes of the Bring it On series as a property set to head down perhaps the most chilling route imaginable by the time an already insane 2022 reaches its conclusion, very few were angling to see Winnie the Pooh be thrust into the horror sphere in the not too distant future.

But that still didn't stop Rhys Frake-Waterfield and his gang of merry friends from imagining precisely what a world where Pooh, Piglet and the other hungry woodland critter pals of Christopher Robin turned to bloodlust would look like.

The answer? Well, look no further than the upcoming dose of childhood massacring that is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, with the British independent slasher set to make mince meat of any who longed to share a tub of honey with the titular one-time friendly face.

As seen in the horror feature's first trailer, the team behind the project appear to have taken great joy in taking an axe to the concept of some of the most cuddly and loveable characters ever created. And with that being said, there's a strong chance you'll never look at that stuffed Pooh toy sat on your childhood bedroom shelves the same way ever again on the back of witnessing this horrific honey flick.
