The Pitch: The latest film from The Human Centipede's Tom Six, revolving around a group of successful women in Hollywood who derive sexual gratification from the misery of others.
In case Six's previous directorial efforts hadn't tipped you off, the first trailer suggests a deeply disturbing shock-horror film, with the women shown masturbating to footage of the 9/11 attacks...because reasons.
Six has said that the film's key theme is "schadenfreude", though beyond that it remains to be seen in which direction the plot might go - or how the hell Six actually got this film funded. Critical scorn is basically inevitable, but for Six's cult of fans, it'll surely deliver the deranged goods.
There's no word yet on when it might end up on VOD, but given that shooting was completed a good while ago, it'll likely release sometime this year.
