In 1903, novelist Henry James published the short story The Beast in the Jungle as part of a wider collection of tales.

Now, 120 years later, it is being turned into an internationally co-produced motion picture.

Helmed by Austrian filmmaker Patric Chiha and financed by France and Belgium alongside his homeland, The Beast in the Jungle is about a man and a woman who run into each other over the course of 25 years. Along the way, they wait outside a nightclub for some Earth-shattering event to take place.

The cast is held up by three pretty prominent names in European cinema. Anaïs Demoustier plays the lead female role; she's a multi-award winning actor and well-known name in her native France.

Then there's the male lead Tom Mercier, who viewers may know from the HBO limited series We Are Who We Are.

And finally, we have Béatrice Dalle, a veteran performer who most recently caught the world's attention for her work in Gaspar Noe's Lux Æterna.

She's playing a character called "The Physiognomist", which is someone who can judge someone's personality based on their face.
