7. Juggernaut
Like Giganta, Juggernaut is much bigger that a normal human. Unlike Giganta, who has lovely proportions, Juggernaut is freakish. Most of his body is huge except for his head, which under his red salad bowl helmet is about normal size, his neck which is practically non-existent (like any good rugby player), and his arms and hands that are absolutely massive. It would make perfect sense within the context of the X-Men universe that the Juggernaut would get his powers and ridiculous body shape through mutation, but absurdly, this is not the case. The Juggernaut began as Cain Marko, the brutish step-brother of Professor X. While serving in the US Army in Korea, Cain found a hidden temple with a magical gem that turned him into the Juggernaut. What are the odds!
How could he possibly work in film? The Juggernaut appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand played by Vinnie Jones, but he was quite poorly received. Jones is a big guy but he is nothing compared to how freakishly huge Juggernaut should be. There are two things that need to happen to make Juggernaut work in film. Firstly, a new version of the Juggernaut would need more CGI to make him look like his peculiar self. It would be difficult to make his unique body shape any other way. Secondly, the history between the Juggernaut and Professor X would need to be explored. This could fit in quite well in the X-Men: First Class timeline that has a more light-hearted tone overall, and a greater focus on Professor X and his history.
