10 Video Game Movies That Were Better Than You Think

3. House Of The Dead

House of the DeadBudget: $12 million Box Office: $13 million With In The Name of the King 3 in post-production, Uwe Boll will have around ten films under his belt that are based on video games. House of the Dead is one of the few Boll film's that actually made a profit. Most people who try to watch House of the Dead will hate it, and rightfully so, but serious horror fans will find the silver lining if they give it a chance. House of the Dead blends together campy, ridiculous violence with decent production value. It is a typical zombie flick that will never have a big cult classic following like Evil Dead or an exceptionally bad film like The Room. The cast of unknown actors (aside from the infamous Clint Howard) adds some fun suspense since you don't know exactly who is going to die until things really spin into motion. They also add to the uninspiring plot of young people looking for the party of their lives but instead end up on an island full of zombies.
