3. Hugo Strange
There are few villains who can get in Batmans head moreso than Dr. Hugo Strange. The sinister psychiatrist was one of the first villains he ever faced and quickly developed an unhealthy obsession with the hero. He was able to deduce the heros identity and went so far as to don his own Batsuit in a twisted attempt to become the Batman. In case you couldnt guess it, Strange definitely has some issues of his own that hes trying to work out, but he's the kind of crazy we haven't seen Batman face before as we have with the Joker. The one complication to his inclusion is that hes set to be a supporting character in Suicide Squad, played by Ike Barinholtz. Hes not exactly a big enough name to star opposite Ben Affleck and the worry is that the characterization of Strange might not work in transitioning him into the role of a main antagonist in a Batman film. Nevertheless, theres more than one type of lunatic in Batman's world, and while the Joker is entertaining, Hugo Strange could provide a more psychological battle that Batman has to deal with.
