10 Ways Spider-Man Leaving The MCU Is Secretly Great

7. It Can Have A More Streamlined Focus

The old criticism that the MCU is more concerned with having each film set up a sequel with references aplenty is just as bogus today as it was when first optioned in Iron Man 2, but there is something to be said about how certain characters could actually benefit from not having to worry about world building start to finish.

Take Daredevil, for instance. While fans have quite rightly lamented over the fact the character's Netflix show never possessed any meaningful ties with the MCU, the restrictions placed on the TV format enabled the series' showrunners to produce a spectacular, streamlined adaptation that stands today as one of the finest Marvel projects to date.

It did that by focusing on Daredevil and Daredevil's world alone; as a street-level hero in Hell's Kitchen. With Spider-Man covering twice as much ground as the Man Without Fear, that should mean there's still plenty to work with.

The third Spidey film, capitalising on Far From Home's ending, can tell a fast-paced, classic narrative without distractions.
