1. Michael G. Wilson - Numerous

He isn’t a celebrity household name, and not many will recognize it at first, but Michael G. Wilson is a Producer, Executive Producer and Writer who has been with the James Bond franchise since 1979’s Moonraker. He has worked closely with Albert and Barbara Broccoli on the Production side as well as working with Richard Maibaum on the writer’s desk helping him pen the scripts for For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill.

However, what’s most interesting about Michael G. Wilson is that from the 1970s onwards, he has made ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ cameos in every single James Bond film to date.

This started in Goldfinger where he appeared as a Soldier, and he was most notably seen in Moonraker where he can be seen three times: first outside Venini Glass, second as a spectator on a bridge behind James Bond as he meets with M, and thirdly as a NASA Space Technician when the Moonraker Space Station appears on the U.S. Radar. This has been a tradition that has been carried through in every single Bond film to this day with his most recent appearance to date was as a man talking to C as a member of the Nine Eyes committee in Spectre.

Funnily enough, this makes Michael G. Wilson the longest running actor in the James Bond series. Different Bonds have come and gone, but Michael G. Wilson has always made an appearance in the background somewhere whether as a physical cameo, or just his voice being heard through radios and phones.

He is currently working with Barbara Broccoli as Producer on the upcoming No Time To Die, so keep your eyes peeled for his little cameo in that movie as well.
