7. Jim Broadbent - Superman IV: The Quest For Peace

Granted, most Superman fans try as hard as possible to forget everything about the risible Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, but even so, there's an especially sneaky cameo by legendary Brit actor Jim Broadbent.

Broadbent, looking positively youthful(ish), appears in two small scenes as nuclear weapons dealer Jean Pierre Dubois, speaking an entire two lines and not-so-memorably asking Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman), "Why should we deal with a notorious scoundrel like you?"

Hilariously, Broadbent commented on the role in a 2001 interview, declaring that he's never watched his performance in the film, adding, "No-one's ever come up to me and said, 'I saw you in Superman IV. You were really good.'" Sound logic.

Broadbent's career of course skyrocketed in the years that followed, and he's now one of the most respected actors of his entire generation.

But just look at his face in the above picture - he looks literally pained to be working on Superman IV. Him and everyone else, that is.
