10 Weirdest Moments In The Early Days Of Marvel Movies
9. Daredevil's First TV Appearance
At last, Matt Murdock has become the hot property he was always meant to be. The blind-lawyer-by-day, blind-vigilante-by-night Daredevil just debuted in his first Netflix original series, a grim and gritty crime drama at the street level of the MCU's New York City. Fans and critics loved it, with a second season already in the works. Many thought the major hurdle this new live action Man Without Fear had to get over was the previous version, played by Ben Affleck in the mostly awful Daredevil film from 2003. In fact, there's further skeletons in the DD TV department and he actually looks kind of familiar. Producers tried to get Matt Murdock on TV screens decades ago, giving him the starring role in TV movie The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk (yes, another one, there were loads), which was to act as a backdoor pilot. With Gimli playing The Kingpin. And fight scenes which wouldn't qualify for the same level of praise as the Netflix series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyoJlxl-dJQ That black costume, however, is almost identical.
