Why It’s Bad: As though doing us a favour, Uwe Boll returns with another video game adaptation, this time with some actual talent – Ben Kingsley, Michelle Rodriguez and, er, Meat Loaf – among the cast. The half-baked plot involves a half-human half-vampire Dhampir (Kristanna Loken) who sets out for revenge on someone for some reason or other.

Rushed into production with a first draft script, it’s the kind of unwatchable, unfathomable tosh we’ve come to associate with Boll, not even fun on a So Bad It’s Good level.

What The Critics Said: “I’m not sure what Boll sees when he looks through the director’s lens when filming each of his pictures, but I’m certain it’s something different than what the rest of us see. Bloodrayne poses no threat to his reputation.” (Austin Chronicle)
