10 X-Men Who Should Be Introduced Into The MCU As "Villains"
5. Jubilee
Jubilee has been featured in the original X-Men trilogy in a cameo role, then given a secondary role in X-Men: Apocalypse. Sadly, four movies under her belt did nothing to showcase her potential or popularity. The MCU should give Jubilee a reboot with a more substantial storyline and there's no better place to start than her origin.
Let the infamous mall rat cause trouble, stealing and damaging property as she struggles to control her powers. A minor threat, maybe, but the headline of "mutant sets off an explosion in crowded mall" is enough to send an X-team out to shut her down.
Perhaps she's joined a group of runaways (or even The Runaways if Marvel continues that chapter). Characters like Boom-Boom, Rictor, Cypher, and Karma would be excellent companions. This would also be a way for the MCU to create the foundation for their own New Mutants team if the upcoming film really is the final chapter of Fox's X-verse.
If Jubilee makes an introduction, then let's hope that Marvel incorporates the "Night of the Sentinels" story from X-Men: The Animated Series. Even if that means waiting a few years until the wider X-Men universe is established, what 90's kid wouldn't love to see this nostalgic scene play out on the big screen?
