5. Kelly Hu is Mei Ling
It will be interesting to see whether a studio would be predictable enough to cast an American actress who simply "looks a little Asian" in the role of Mei Ling, or is prepared to take on an Chinese-American actress like Kelly Hu. While Hu isn't a massively experienced actress, she could shine in a relatively minor role like this, having the obvious physical likeness - for Mei Ling is clearly meant to be attractive, given Snake's flirting with her - even if she might be a few years older than the character is in the first MGS game. Thankfully, the years have been good to Hu and it is difficult to imagine that this would be an issue to most.
