Edit: Title is "Little Shop Of Horrors"

Helmed by the irreplaceable Frank Oz of The Muppets and Star Wars fame, Little Shop Of Horrors is a wacky horror-comedy musical that revolves around a talking, alien, man-eating plant that finds itself in the care of a neurotic florist. It was adapted from the off-Broadway musical of the same name, which was itself adapted from Roger Corman’s film The Little Shop Of Horrors form 1960. No wonder this film has become a cult legend.

For those who don’t know, this two-time Oscar-nominated sensation takes viewers to the run-down setting of Skid Row where we meet aforementioned florist Seymour (Rick Moranis), who’s hopelessly love-struck by his colleague Audrey (Ellen Greene).

With the shop failing, Seymour manages to attract customers by displaying the strange alien plant (Levi Stubbs) in the window. However, he soon discovers that the plant, which he names Audrey II, needs human blood to sustain itself. From herein all chaos breaks loose as the plant grows out of control.

Complete with a toe-tapping rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack including favourites “Suddenly Seymour” and “Dentist!” (performed by Steve Martin) alongside some outstanding special effects, watching this cult classic will transport you to somewhere that’s green.
