The Great Actor: She had an incredible career before it, but Janet Leigh will forever be remembered for that one unlucky time she took a shower in Psycho. Leigh's casting in Hitchcock's masterpiece was really a clever stunt - putting a well established actress at the front of the film only made Marion Crane's unexpected death forty minutes in all the more shocking - but that shouldn't take away from how good a performance it was. It was so convincing Leigh later said the film had affected her so much she was scared to shower. The Terrible Final Role: Norma Watson - Halloween H20: 20 Years Later In an attempt to rejuvenate a series that was falling more often than a blonde running from a serial killer, Halloween H20 brought back original franchise Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as featuring a cameo from her mother, Leigh, who had been the slasher sub-genre's first victim all those years ago. Named Norma (hahahahaha - in Psycho the killer was called Norman... oh wait, that's not funny), Janet Leigh's cameo in 20 Years Later is a painful watch where what could have been a little in-joke becomes a forced wink at the screen (the scene serves no purpose other than to have the Psycho star appear). Leigh had already starred with her daughter in The Fog years earlier, so this is really a pointless cameo.
