11 Horror Movie Hotels That You Do Not Want To Stay In
2. The Slovakian Hostel - Hostel Franchise
Booze, Babes and blowtorches - everything you want on your trip around Europe.
Everyone knows an obnoxious, arrogant, man boy that desperately recounts his "gap year" abroad where he conquered Europe at any opportune moment. We've all had to sit and listen as he prestigiously brags about all the skirt chasing and pot smoking he did while "discovering who he is". But even after suffering through all this, you still wouldn't wish a fate on them that equals the one our main characters face in Hostel.
While most backpackers recant tales of bed bug infested joints, the three protagonists of Hostel definitely take the cake when it comes to horrifying tourist anecdotes.
The Slovakian hostel that the trio find themselves in is not your average locale. In what can only be called the sharpest left turn in horror movie history (besides maybe Audition), the boy's days of partying are cut short by an underground torture ring.
The Hostel is full of beautiful women that guide wayward travellers into the hands of wealthy businessman that pay top dollar to abuse and murder people that nobody would notice had gone missing. From drilling holes into torsos, dismembering body parts with a chainsaw to mutilating faces with a blowtorch, this hostel, terrifyingly, has it all.
