11 Lame Post-Credits Scenes Everyone Regrets Waiting For
5. Thor And Jane Kiss - Thor: The Dark World (2013)
The Scene: Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) is moping around in her apartment with Darcy (Kat Dennings), Erik Selvig (Stellan SkarsgÄrd) and Ian (Jonathan Howard), when suddenly, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) returns to Earth. Jane's mood immediately perks up and the two race towards one another for a slow-motion kiss. The scene then cuts across London, where a Jotunheim frost monster accidentally teleported to Earth during the final battle is rampaging, knocking over a shipping container and disappearing to who-knows-where. How Long You Waited: 5 minutes, 15 seconds (after the mid-credits scene). Why Everyone Regrets Staying For It: Because though the mid-credits scene seemed to have some actual importance regarding the Infinity Stones (and Marvel typically have one serious credits scene and one comedic), fans were no doubt still hoping that the second one would be a little more ambitious than...this. Perhaps it wouldn't seem quite so underwhelming were the romance between Thor and Jane not so ridiculously forced: they don't have great chemistry, so to have a post-credits scene be "wasted" on them is majorly disappointing. The escaped frost monster is vaguely amusing, but then, that isn't followed up on in any future movie either (yet), so it seems only slightly less pointless. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHw2O6ceypE
