11 Marvel Characters We Can't Wait To See In The MCU
1. The X-Men
The X-Men are the greatest superhero team of all time - there's no denying it. Any kid who watched the nineties cartoon knows just how good they are, from the comics to the animated TV series. THAT THEME TUNE! It's absolute perfection!
The problem with The X-Men is that there are too many great characters and such an enormous, rich history to get stuck into. While there have been multiple film versions with iconic takes on these characters, we have still to see the MCU have a go at telling their stories.
It's taken a while, but Disney finally obtained the rights for the characters. It's been talked about for a long time, but we can expect to start seeing mutants cropping up in the MCU. We've already met a couple. There was Ursa Major in Black Widow and a glimpse of a glowing mutant in the fighting pits of Shang Chi. In Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we saw Madripoor, a location linked to the X-Men.
It's an exciting time for the MCU, with rumours of other mutants on the horizon. Allegedly, Storm might appear in Black Panther 2, while Rogue might be in The Marvels.
