11 Most Disappointing Post-Credits Scenes Ever

3. The Wolf - The Grey

The Grey is a film best known for a scene where Liam Neeson has broken glass taped to his knuckles and then fights a wolf. What you might not know is that is the very last scene of the film. Before that, it's a sad eulogy on the hopelessness of life and the lonliness of dying, set against a vast, empty wilderness, as the people aboard a small plane - crashed into a mountain - try to find civilization, all the while being hunted by wolves.

Slowly, all of them die, until Liam Neeson is left. He realizes too late that the entire time he's been moving deeper into the wolf's nest. The last shot is him putting on the glass knuckles and running to fight a wolf.

The end credit scene is a wolf, laying down, maybe breathing, maybe dying, with Liam Neeson, laying either under or beside him, and someone is maybe breathing, possibly.

Sorry if that's weird or confusing, but that's what the post-credit scene is. It's the first part of the entire movie that is completely unexpected as the scene with Neeson fighting the wolves was the main feature of the film's trailers. This is the first thing you see after the part you know is coming. And it is... something, for sure.
