1. The Death Of Captain America Storyline Could Be Intertwined With It
In the aftermath of the comic book Civil War storyline, Captain America was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody and assassinated. His assassination came on the orders of the Red Skull (which may well have triggered the Red Skull rumours about this movie), as Crossbones tried to snipe him from afar and Sharon Carter - who had been brainwashed - delivered the killing shot. With all three of those characters potentially appearing in this movie - and with Chris Evans' interest in continuing as Captain America waning - there is every chance that something similar could happen in Captain America: Civil War. In a nutshell, Captain America could die. While it would be bitterly disappointing not to have Captain America available to adapt the epic scene in which he confronts Thanos in the Infinity War movies, his death would certainly stir things up and add some excitement to an already highly-anticipated cinematic event - and, quite frankly, it's about time Marvel Studios had the balls to kill off a big name.
