7. Phil Coulson & His S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Will Be Involved

In the Civil War comic book arc, S.H.I.E.L.D. were heavily featured. In fact, once those superhumans who registered with the Superhuman Registration Act had done so, it was S.H.I.E.L.D. who dealt with all the paperwork, trained, regulated and monitored them - and it was S.H.I.E.L.D. who pursued, captured and punished those who refused to do so. With that in mind, the likelihood is that they'll be heavily involved in the movie - and that means Phil Coulson and his team could appear (they're very light in numbers and it's not as though there are too many other members of the organisation to call upon). Granted, there's a "real S.H.I.E.L.D." making their presence felt in the television series at the moment, but the likelihood is that they're going to be antagonists who Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. defeat. Coulson, therefore, may well be at the forefront of superhuman registration and his team may well appear alongside him.
