8. Hank Pym & Scott Lang Will Be On Opposing Sides

The Ant-Man movie will be the last Marvel Cinematic Universe offering before Captain America: Civil War is released. It will see the technology and name of Ant-Man being passed on from Michael Douglas' Hank Pym to Paul Rudd's Scott Lang and, as a result, the two are expected to be friends. However, there is a rumour going around that they will be sitting on opposite sides of the fence when it comes to the Civil War (in addition to the contrasting rumour that Lang will be a neutral observer). Regardless of what those sides are, Scott Lang will obviously be the only one who could possibly fight in the war itself, while Hank Pym would simply be an advocate for the side he chooses. It is actually rumoured that Pym may well actually have an ulterior motive in the Ant-Man movie - perhaps using Lang for nefarious purposes without his knowledge - and, if that's the case, their siding with different teams in Captain America: Civil War would make a lot more sense.
