7. Zach Galifianakis Is Making A Movie About His Own Talk Show

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone where Hollywood gets its inspiration for movies from these days. We are, after all, in a world where emojis, memes, creepy pastas, apps, YouTube videos and boardgames are considered fair game.

Still, a movie based on a gimmicked talkshow in which a caricatured version of a real life person asks celebrities questions and usually sabotages his own show in the interest of comedy doesn't really sound like the sort of thing that would work. And yet, that's exactly what's happening, since Zach Galifianakis has been secretly working on a feature film based on his Between 2 Ferns Funny Or Die show.

The feature will debut on Netflix and will allegedly follow the usual format, though expanded to a far greater run-time, which seems strangely at odds with why the format worked in the first place. But at least we'll get to see Keanu Reeves and Peter Dinklage among the guests.
