4. Conrad Stonebanks - The Expendables 3

It's pretty much a given that the villain of any Expendables movie is going to meet a bloody end, and with the brilliant decision to cast Mel Gibson as baddie Conrad Stonebanks this time, hopefully he'll be given an awesome death worthy of his stature. Gibson clearly had a total blast playing the bad guy Luther Voz in Machete Kills last year, so hopefully he'll bring some of that campy yet vicious flavour to this super-group action series. Gibson has beefed up for the role, so a final showdown against Sylvester Stallone has the potential to be a nostalgia-fest for the ages. That said, director Patrick Hughes is no doubt going to struggle with convincing audiences that Stallone could realistically beat Gibson in a fight, just as he did with the considerably younger Jean-Claude Van Damme in the last Expendables film. Perhaps Barney Ross will need a little more help from his friends this time...
