Jason Krawczyk's 2015 movie is something of a horror comedy, crossed with a superhero movie crossed with Taken, with more than a little cannibalism thrown in for good measure. As bizarre as something like this sounds, it all came together to make a brilliant movie, as its 87% on Rotten Tomatoes tells.

Henry Rollins stars as Jack, in what is potentially his best on screen work to date. Despite trying to stay as isolated as possible thanks to his often uncontrollable need to feast on human flesh, Jack is brought back into the world to help rescue his daughter from a gang of mobsters. This is where his handy immortality comes into play.

As with the majority of the entries on this list, He Never Died doesn't have a big budget to fall back on, instead relying on character building, solid dialogue, and a strong story. All this, on top of Rollins' performance, help make this an incredible horror movie, and utterly unique in its delivery.
