Although not a name you may have heard of, Floria Sigismondi is the perfect fit to helm this adaptation of Henry James’s dusty but darn-terrifying novel, The Turn Of The Screw. First popping a pin through the biopic genre with her underrated The Runaways, this was then followed up some blistering episodes of Daredevil and then Handmaids Tale. Chuck in a soundtrack that includes Alice Glass, Soccer Mom and Courtney Love this one looks to be a jagged, sharp re-launch that could well be the surprise horror hit of 2020.
